THE PROCESS

Claim Finders and Researchers:
 

The fact-checking process follows a clear, step-by-step system to ensure accuracy and reliability. It begins with finding and selecting a verifiable claim, making sure it’s clearly stated, logged, and approved by the team. Next, the research and verification stage involves gathering credible evidence from reliable sources, cross-checking data, and documenting all findings with citations and proof. Once verified, the claim and evidence are submitted to the evaluating and writing team, with all files and summaries organized for review.

Writers and Evaluators:

Our job is to evaluate questionable, misleading, and possibly false statements, providing our audience with verified reliable facts, data, and statistics. This process involves several collaborative teams. Our team starts by reviewing the claims identified by the Claim Finders. After assessment, we dive into the sources found by the Researchers. After collecting the information, we create a fact-checking article. Within the article, we engage our audience through immersive visuals and designs.
